Had to come to this place before leaving Orlando, but we came to this location because I wasn't trying to wait in line for 2hrs at the location in Disney Springs. After trying the goodies we got from Gideon's for the first time, I now see why the line at the Disney Springs location is always so long. These treats are so delicious, I'm talking 10 out of 10! We got a variety of their cookies and their cookies & cream cake and their strawberry crunch cake. All amazing!

Idk what to say about this place. The very long long long line in the Florida sun was not worth any bit of the hyped. I did not know this was a viral store wife forgot to mention that . Viral means nothing . So , walked in this building expecting more of an open floor mhm it’s like a buffet line , waiting even longer after getting inside. Got a chocolate peanut butter cookie for like 8 bucks , mhm 1/2 pound cookie . Took a few days to finish it but the flavor was meh , the chips were decent , the peanut butter was not soft or fluffy like I was expecting . Had another nut like macadamia not sure what was in it . Overall the cookie aren’t worth the premium price and wasting time on your life in line . Bag is cool looking

Cookies the size of your freaking head! The most amazing and sinful thing you'll put in your mouth. Worth the wait. The atmosphere is creepy and delightful. The March Sea Turtle Cookie was out of this world!

While in Orlando we also stumbled across a really cool artisan bakery called Gideon’s Bakehouse. The place has a strong gothic, Harry Potter kind of vibe. Dark wood, old books, candlelight. It feels like you’ve stepped into a bakery inside a wizard’s library. And the cookies? Outrageous. We tried several: Chocolate Chip, Triple Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, and the clear winner for me, the Pistachio Chocolate Chip. Each one is thick, rich, and packed with flavor. What really sets them apart is the touch of salt. It balances the sweetness perfectly and makes the cookies incredibly unique. If you’ve got a sweet tooth and find yourself in Orlando, this place is definitely worth the stop. 🍪✨

The cookies are wild! Yes, there’s a novelty aspect to them but, contrary to other “popular” bakeries, you can actually taste the flavors of every cookie, not just the same tired dough over and over. That said, they’re rich and, you may easily halve or quarter them if you’re up for trying several at a time. If you’re in town, place an order ahead and pick them up.
